Flower bulbs are one of the easiest things to plant. Even kids can do it! All you have to do is get them into the ground, just below the surface, with the pointy end sticking up. If you plant them closer together, you’ll have bunches of flowers popping up. If you plant them farther apart they’ll have room to expand and make clusters on their own.
Flower bulbs can be planted in fall or spring, when it’s cool outside but the soil isn’t frozen. If you plant in the fall they will have time to prepare to come up in the spring. An early spring planting may get blooms later in the summer.
